Bhutan Peaceful Residency & Spa

I started my journey in the tourism & hospitality industry in 1996 as a young German speaking tour guide in Bhutan. I was very curious about how my guests felt during their trip to Bhutan so I would always ask for their feedback to improve. Time and time again I would hear about how much they enjoyed visiting Bhutan. However, it was always followed by murmurs like “I couldn’t sleep well”, “the dogs wouldn’t stop barking”, “the beds were not comfortable”, “the heating and cooling system in the rooms were not adequate” – and the long list of feedback on hotels kept piling after each group I led. Many of my guests used to always suggest me that if I ever build anything in Bhutan it should be a hotel. With this in mind, I never stopped dreaming of building a hotel where I could address all the constructive feedback from our guests. Today, after 27 years, the dream of addressing the issues of our guests is finally a reality. Therefore, I would like present to you all - “Bhutan Peaceful Residency & Spa”.
